2015 WSEC Survival Guide –
Dedicated Outside Air Systems
Our presentation will include an overview of the current status of the WSEC and explain the purpose and requirements of the DOAS provisions in the 2015 WSEC. Topics covered will include responses to frequently asked questions about the DOAS provisions such as:
– Which spaces are required to be served by this system type
– What are the energy recovery requirements
– When is DOAS required in a mechanical alteration
– Are there realistic paths to an exception?

Senior Program Manager – Northwest Energy Efficiency Council
Lisa has managed technical support services and developed educational programs and resources for the commercial provisions of the WSEC since 2010. She is an instructor and technical advisor, supporting energy code compliance through advocacy and industry education. Prior to her involvement with the WSEC, she was a mechanical engineering designer for fifteen years specializing in resource conservation.
